Develop, implement and manage a content marketing strategy that supports organizational goals from top to bottom of the marketing and sales funnel including increasing brand and product awareness, growing website traffic, generating leads, acquiring and retaining customers.

-Work with our sales, operations and product teams to tap into opportunities for content creation. Be able to identify trends early on and build industry-leading content
-Develop and implement meaningful content effectiveness measurements and continuous improvement processes and stay abreast of social, technology and behavioral trends to inform content strategy
-Collaborate with global marketing leads to leverage best practices and global content
-Optimize content distribution to ensure that relevant content is delivered to the customer at the right point in the customers lifecycle.
-Develop and maintain a content calendar that attracts and appeals to the companys target customer personas.
-Develop and implement needs-based storytelling using words, images, or audio that draw the right audience to the brand.
-Create, monitor and engage in brand-related conversations across social media platforms as the voice of the brand.
-Create, edit and manage the production of digital and print content that is consistent with the companys tone and voice for the brand, and provides benefits to our target audience and customers.
-Design, produce and distribute appropriate materials, such as SEO-friendly web and social media content, videos, infographics, posters, brochures, newsletters, presentations, customer information packs to fulfil the expectations of the business
-Source of content ,self, internal team and external partners
-Follow effective quality control and proofing procedures to deliver completely error free content materials
-Ensure that all digital channel content is maintained in optimum condition, this includes quality checking content, functionality and operation
-Together with the appointed digital agency and marketing manager develop an effective digital strategy
-Manage and implement digital campaigns and content strategies and to refine and improve these wherever practical; eCommerce Catalogue Updates, digital properties, AdWords, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager and other publisher platforms

Ideally we would like this person to be able to take on overall responsibility for: Search Engine Marketing including Google AdWords, display ads


Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Marketing degree or similar industry relevant qualification

  2. Between 3-5 years experience within a digital marketing environment on relevant channels

  3. Independance and creativtivity is a must

  4. Knowledge and experience francafone African countries is highly advantageous


R420,000 CTC per annum Negotiable
